Managing Director/Senior Crew and Staff
Milica heads up the team and offers a wealth of experience, having spent her entire career in the service industry – from working in luxury hotels, to private households, cruise ships and the yachting industry. She has a Hotel Management degree and over a decade experience in placing senior crew in the yacht crew recruitment sector, as well as household staff.
Milica is trilingual, speaking English, French and Serbo-Croatian.
General manager – Captains and Engineers
Debbie grew up in England, moving to Lyon, France when she was 21. After a first career in internal communications, she was then lured to the South of France by a love of the sea, and it was there that she transitioned to the yachting industry. She spent fifteen years establishing and managing the recruitment department of an international yachting company and is now thrilled to put her talents to use with a dynamic start-up. Debbie has a degree in Economics and a passion for people.
Deck and Engineering Department
Catherine began her career as an English teacher at an International school, helping children learn and grow in a bilingual setting. She later discovered yachting and spent two years working as a stewardess on boats up to 80m. Catherine is very much a people person, and she now loves using her skills and in-depth knowledge to guide others to find their perfect career in yachting and to help clients find the perfect crew member.
Interior and Galley department
Kiera started out in land-based recruitment 7 years ago before making the move across to yachting. After 5 years of working in the interior on both private and charter as well as world cruising vessels, she stepped back into the recruitment sector; this time within the superyacht industry. She now takes pride in helping to create the perfect matches between clients and crew using her friendly approach and extensive experience within this field.
Admin/ Digital Marketing
Alliyah grew up in the Philippines and moved to France to pursue her master’s education at SKEMA Business school. She graduated with honors and she is highly experienced in using graphic design and producing social media content. She believes that digital marketing is the future and she is very excited about the role she will play with Lighthouse careers. Alliyah is multilingual – she speaks English, French, Filipino, Cebuano and basic Chinese.
