Requirements: 3 return flights per year (2:2 rotation) Cabin shared with the 2nd Engineer Start date: March 2023 The job role is primarily focused on AVIT but the successful candidate will be expected to help maintain the comms, bridge, lighting, and other electrical systems in conjunction with the engineering team of 5. In addition to the necessary technical knowledge, communication, time management and documentation skills are vital to efficiently deal with the workload of this busy private/charter boat. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of: Cisco network hardware (CCNA/Network+ preferred) Firewalls (Kerio preferred) with good CyberSecurity awareness Seatel/Cobham VSAT and TVRO operation and maintenance Pepwave Crestron Control & DM Distribution Apple device maintenance and troubleshooting BSS Audio distribution Hybrid AD Domain/M365 Cloud administration ESXi Hypervisor infrastructure Live Music Setups & Lighting Kaleidescape Media Server Lutron lighting GMDSS & Navigation equipment troubleshooting and maintenance Photography & Videography, Video Editing and Drone Flying Other Specs: B1/B2: Highly Desirable The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving and be able to adapt quickly to new challenges and technologies whilst being committed to providing the highest level of experience. An existing interest in photography and videography will be beneficial as it will form a part of the role during guest trips. They will be well presented and able to work confidently and effectively in high pressure, guest facing environments. They should be able to identify systems for improvements and put together thought out proposals for review by upper management . They will possess the basic engineering knowledge to be able to maintain an engineering watch whilst alongside. The candidate will enjoy being part of an active crew and should be able to provide effective support to all users on board.
