What the job involves

What you need

STCW Basic Safety Training and a valid ENG1 seafarer medical certificate, which almost every yacht requires before you start
A master's certificate appropriate to the yacht's gross tonnage
GMDSS and other STCW certificates required for the command
Proven experience as a senior officer
